The pro, who resides in Las Vegas, NV and quit an internship with a non-profit teaching businesses how to be more socially responsible so she could focus on the game, has won over $150,000 in major tournament events since 2005. This includes her recent first-place finish at the World Series of Poker Circuit in Indiana.
It all started with a friendly visit back in June of 2003. Amanda stopped by to visit a friend, a friend who happened to be watching the WPT. Within a few hours, he had taught her the basics of Hold ‘em and played a few hands with her. That was it – Mandy B had a new passion.

Amanda “Mandy B” Baker, an active environmentalist, proved that she is willing to put her money where her mouth is. She plans to donate 50% of her bank from the WSOPC to environmental groups.
Full Tilt Poker announced earlier this week that they’ve signed this up-and-comer to their growing roster of pros. She joins other newbies such as Julian Gardner, Jared “TheWacoKidd” Hamby, Nikolaus “kaibuxxe” Jedlicka, Jon “PearlJammer” Turner, Peter “Nordberg” Feldman and Peter Jepson.
